The 3rd International Forum of Pharmaceutical Inspectorates (IFPI) will kick off on 16 November 2026 in Hanoi, Vietnam. The Forum’s business programme is structured around three blocks comprising nine thematic sessions. The event will open with a plenary session titled "Good Regulatory Practice: Harmonization and Strengthening of Medicines Regulatory Systems," featuring WHO representatives, heads of regulatory authorities, and pharmaceutical industry experts.
The programme architecture is built around the issues of current relevance to national regulators, and covers modern regulatory approaches, capacity building for inspectors, specific considerations in the regulation and manufacture of various product groups (blood products, CAR‑T therapies, radiopharmaceuticals), risk management in contract manufacturing and reducing administrative barriers to market access for medicines.

The Forum programme is hands-on in nature: participants will be able to acquire practical tools for streamlining regulatory processes and implementing new approaches within their respective jurisdictions. The IFPI agenda comprises workshops, business meetings, agreement signings, and an exhibition. As has become tradition, the Working Groups of pharmaceutical inspectorates will convene at the Forum to take stock of their activities over the past year and present the findings of joint inspections.
The IFPI is organized by the Expert Committee comprising representatives from Indonesia, Cuba, United Arab Emirates, Myanmar, Ethiopia, Belarus and Russia.
