International Forum of Pharmaceutical Inspectorates Becomes a Platform for Dialogue Between Business and Regulators

The 2nd International Forum of Pharmaceutical Inspectorates has become an important platform for constructive dialogue between regulatory authorities and representatives of the pharmaceutical industry.

As part of the Forum, B2G meetings were held between officials of regulatory authorities from 50 participating countries and leading international pharmaceutical companies. These meetings provided an opportunity for direct exchange of views on current regulatory challenges, compliance expectations, and prospects for cooperation in the pharmaceutical sector.

In addition, a roundtable discussion took place involving business representatives and regulators from Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, and Vietnam.

During the panel sessions of the Forum, pharmaceutical companies shared their practical experience and exchanged views with regulators on ways to improve Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) implementation, inspection transparency, and regulatory efficiency. Participants emphasized the importance of open dialogue, risk-based approaches, and international collaboration to ensure the quality, safety, and availability of medicines worldwide.

The Forum confirmed its role as an independent and effective platform for building trust between regulators and the pharmaceutical industry, fostering alignment on regulatory standards, and facilitating continual improvement in GMP at the global level.
