One of the topics of the 3rd International Forum of Pharmaceutical Inspectorates (IFPI) will be a discussion of modern approaches to the regulation of advanced therapy medicinal products, as well as the specific features of their technological development and manufacture.
The rapid development of pharmaceutical technologies and the emergence of advanced therapy medicinal products present new challenges for regulatory authorities and the pharmaceutical industry. Advancing this field requires not only the continuous improvement of manufacturing technologies, quality control approaches and the assurance of reproducibility in production processes, but also the refinement of regulatory mechanisms.
During the discussions, experts will examine modern regulatory tools for advanced therapy medicinal products, international experience and the prospects for the further development of regulatory systems. Particular attention will also be paid to the technologies used in the manufacture of advanced therapy medicinal products, and their improvement and development in line with modern requirements for the quality and safety of medicines. The session will feature experts from international companies such as Novartis, Fedegari and others, as well as representatives of regulatory authorities from various countries.
Participants will have the opportunity to discuss how regulatory practices can take account of the rapid technological transformation of the sector, as well as the challenges faced by manufacturers and regulatory bodies when introducing new technologies.
The III International Forum of Pharmaceutical Inspectorates will take place on 16–17 November 2026 in Hanoi, Vietnam.
